I spent years trying to make academia (my attempt at a "creative" career) work for me. Before that, I had tried working under other creatives but inevitably felt unfulfilled putting my own vision last.
I was in the last year of my PhD in psychology when I knew I had tried everything to make "safe" career choices work. It was now or never to bet on myself and my vision to build something on my own.
My research in transformative experiences had prepared me for this leap intellectually - but even the data shows that there is only one way transformation actually happens: lived experience.
Now I help other women gain the experience they need to step confidently into ownership - of their emerging business and of the title "entrepreneur."
